The return is approved by Colonel O. C. Risdon, thus authorizing the Assistant Commissary of Subsistence to issue the requested rations.

Warren Miller, requesting 90 rations to be issued to the detachment clerks at the headquarters of the District of Mississippi at Jackson, Mississippi. The return is also approved by Miller, by order of Major General Peter J. Osterhaus, thus authorizing the Assistant Commissary of Subsistence to issue the requested rations.
