Nutt Martens, Jill? for State Troops, were relieved from duty on 17^t July past, with orders to report to the Governor—It would be well to revoke the commissions of these officers, unless the Governor has farther use for them—Also those of D. F. Bare and J. L. Duck who were relieved from duty last winter—some ^of those^ may expect pay, while they hold commissions—

The state Troops were detached from Conf. service on the 17^th of July, by order of Genl Pemberton, & sent to their homes—Will they receive pay subsequent to that time, and until exchanged?
