Macon, Miss. April 11^th/65.

Miss M. M. Allen,

I enclose a showing per Gov. Clarke, that his note is credited on your account, with $400. this date, you will please hand it to him, & take his receipt, for the amount of your Board so far as it will pay. He has not definitely informed me of the amt. per month, hence I send it to you. Mrs Blythe charges you nothing; and when I see you I will tell you what I think you ought to do.
