Believing it proper that you be advised, and doubting whether any one else will do it, inform you that the report to day is, and seems to be True, that a M^r Eskridge who was in Jail here, charged with the Murder of a M^r Brantly, visited a Restaurant and other places last night in Company with the Town Marshall. Charley Stewart, the Beat Constable, or his father, Hon^l Isham Stewart, now at Jackson, is Jailor
