Dear Sir My Brother having been assasinated hear in Okolona & the murder was tride & Com Clear I do not think I have had Justice by no meanes I has Spent all of My ^money^ trying only to get Justice & do not think I have Recieved it So I apply to you please If you can do any thing for Me convey me [Warell?] & Almoloyan? Hunt

Answer that the Govrn regrets that he is not satisfied with the results of the trial of the slayer of his brother, the courts or Jurys are the only means that a civil government has by which to enforce its laws and there the Governor seeks by all means proper to [strengthen?] will do anything he can for the [writer?]
