J. L. Alcorn Gov &c

Sir

In compliance with Your order of a recent date respecting felonies committed in DeSoto County, I herewith inclose a discription of Stephen Allen who is charged with the murder of Luther Teel which murder was committed at or near Nesbitts Station in Said County on the 16^th of March 1871.

Discription

About 40 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high rather heavy Set, black hair and dark whiskers dark brown eyes; dark complexion, Voice rather fine.
