To the Adjutant General State of Mississippi

Dear Sir

We have this day forwarded you by mail some specimens of steel engraved military work recently executed by us for the state of Louisiana.

We shall be glad to do similar work for your department of the state gov't. of Mississippi; & are prepared to furnish an original design for a military commission to ^be^ printed upon parchment; or for any other piece of work that comes in our line.

We have sent you two impressions of the Louisiana State commission; one taken upon paper, & the other upon parchment.
