Dear Sirs:

Refering you to our Spring Catalogue previously sent to you, we beg leave to say: That in view of the difficulties, your section of the country has labored under this season, owing to the low price of your great Staple, Cotton, caused by the late war in Europe, we have determined to make SPECIAL TERMS for the remainder of the Spring season, and should you favor us with your orders for CLOTHING, we will make the terms SIX MONTHS, (to re-sponsible parties. This will carry your payments to near the end of October.

We will add that in addition to this, much of our stock has been marked down from catalogue prices, which we know were very low, for the styles and quality of the goods.

Should you favor us with an order we promise you our most careful at-tention in executing the same, and as a pledge that we will redeem this promise, we give you the privilege of returning the goods if found unsatisfactory in price or quality, if returned immediately on their receipt; the return freight to be borne by us.

In making out an order please specify, as nearly as you can, the quality and kind of goods wanted, and as near as may be the price desired. This will help very much in making up a satisfactory order.
