Know all men, that we Robert Moore, and Celia Moore his wife of Tishomingo County in the State of Mississippi, which Ceila Moore is daughter of, and one of the heirs at law of Samuel Allen, late of Montgomery County in the State of North Carolina, deceased have made, constituted and appointed and do by these present make, constitute and appoint Alfred Brower our true and lawful Attorney for us and in our name to ask, demand, Sue for, recover, and recieve all such sum or sums of money, as is, or shall be due to said Celia Moore, as one of the heirs at law of said Samuel Allen deceased from the Administrator or Executor of said estate or from any other person or persons whatever in whose hands the same may be found, and upon receipt of the same to give acquittances in our name, and generally to do all such things as may be necessary, & legal in the premises—as fully as we might or could do in the present Hereby ratifying & confirming all that our said Attorney may lawfully do in the premises and we do hereby revoke all and any pow-er of Attorney that we may have here-tofore given to any other person.

Joel M Acker Judge of the 9th Judicial Circuit of the State of Missis—sippi Robert Moore & Celia Moore his wife who acknowledged that they signed, sealed & delivered the foregoing power of Attorney on the day the same bears date, & Celia Moore being by me pri-vately examined, separate & apart from her husband acknowledged that the signed the same voluntarily with-out any fear of, or force or threats of her said husband whatever_As witness my hand and seal on this the 21^st day of September AD 1860
