I have been informed that Oren Metcalfe and myself have been appointed to negotiate some of the State warrants but we have not yet rec'd any instructions in regard to the matter, I had an application to day but being without warrants or authority I requested the gentleman to wait a few days which he will do

Please inform me when the warr-ants will be sent down for the differ-ent persons who subscribed to Capt E M Blackburn,
