Jackson.

Hearing that there is another call for volunteers, the company of which I have the honor to be Captain, would like much to commend itself to your favorable consideration, This company has been duly organized, but com-missions have been not issued. we would like to have the commissions and also like to have their appli-cation for enlistment registered. You will pleas let me know in reference to this matter, also what provision the state will afford for arming us.

This company is called the "Warren Greys" and has Bovina Warren Co for its headquarters. I understand there are more arms in the hands of Capt Cook of Vicks-burg than that company has use for—cannot those be given to us?

The following were duly elected officers of the company T. V. Holand, Capt; Geo B. Hebron 1^st Lieut; G. T. Swink 2^nd Lieut; T. N. Batchelor 3^rd Lieut
