Confederate States of America. Army--Featherston's Brigade
Featherston's Brigade was organized in June 1862 under the command of Brig. Gen. Winfield Scott Featherston. It served in the Eastern, Western, and Trans-Mississippi Theaters under the Army of Mississippi and Gen. Leonidas Polk's Army. Divisions of the unit were also commanded by Col. Mellon, Lt. Col.
