Dear Sir

I have this moment learned of the death of M^r. Webb Secretary of State have you any chance of getting the appointment If you have, I would like for you if you have the power to appoint your assistant secretary that you would give it to your Brother Larkin and you together do better than alone, I should like to hear soon from you on this subject, all well & all send there love to you Dearey and the babe
