In drawing money for mustering 9 days—upon Examination, some of men drawn for did not muster the 9 days, but musterd from then to 8 days and were paid accordly by me that is a dollar for each day they musterd, I have made out a correct Statement as to the amount Each man received, and have it now ready to Report but do not know to whom to make the Report. This Statement should a balance in my hands that does not belong to me—I talked with Gen Alcorn at this point and he enformed me that he was not the one to account to. I write to you that I might know what to do in the premises—
