Dear Sir. Pardon the liberty I take in thus adresing you I am a Widow and offer my serves to the confederat states as a nurse I can furnish every thing I want but have not got the means to go to Va if you will acept me I am wiling to go for the War or for one year I am alone in the world and think it my dutey to go I have told Ladiy friends that are wiling to go if you ar wiling to send us to york town we will go amadately let me know as soon as posobel and am wiling to go any place you send us if you answer this direct to the name below
