Dear Sir

I send you a lot Bank note paper, old cotton notes, it is concisdered by out Bankers very good proper to make the state cotton notes upon, [page torn] paper belongs to B. Pendleton of this [page torn] he is willing you shall make use of us & pay him what you think is right. that is about 5000 sheets

I forwarded by my son with instructions to deliver in person, in order that no delay may happen to it, I was told where in Jackson paper was very much needed, and I have Examined all of the old, Banks for it, I hope it will be of service to you

The guns collected in the this county have been removed by the Provost Marshall to a safe place in the interior which I trust will meet with your app-robation
