Grenada 15^th January 1863,

To the Gov,

Sir,

It has been represented to beme that Andrew J, Sullivan a private in Capt Prince Cavalry Co, is very much needed in his neighborhood to run his mill, which is now unemployed for want of a miller, The neighborhood in which the mill is located is a poor one, & most of the men are absent in the service Hence many women & small children are compelled to go to mill—This mill of Sullivan's being the only one in the neighborhood , these women & children are now compelled to go a long distance to mill.

Under the circumstances I believe that Sullivan ought to be discharged
