Dear Sir

Enclose you have my appointment as Agent to dispense Spirit our Liquors; which I resign. Having been appoin[page torn] agent to Collect the Tax in Kind, at this Depot, I can not well discharge the duties of both.

M^r Martin Faler, of this place, who has been re-commend^d. to fill my place, will discharge his duty faithfully & in strict accordance with the law[page torn]
