Through the solicitation of many citizens, I am requested to state that I was former mayor of Oxford at the last election the shff neglected to hold an election for mayor and aldermen for the Corporation of Oxford. This is to request you to order an election of the above named officers as soon as posible, as the public good requires that it should be done
