Governor of said State:
To all to whom these Presents shall come. Greeting:

To his Excellency, the Governor of the State of Mississippi

Whereas, It appears by the annexed papers, duly authenticated according to law, that—William Gilmer—stands charged by—Affidavit—with the crime of—obtaining goods by false pretenses—committed in the County of—Hamilton—in said State: and it has been represented to me that he has fled from the justice of this State, and has taken refuge within the limits of the State of—Mississippi—

Now, Therefore, Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution and the Laws of the United States, in such case made and provided, I do hereby make Requisition for the apprehension of said—William Gilmer—and for—his—delivery to—George A. Calcher—who is duly authorized to receive and convey—him—to the State of Ohio, there to be dealt with according to the law.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Ohio to be affixed at Columbus, the—28^th—day of—July—in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty——nine—, and in the ninety—fourth—year of the Independence of the United States of America.
