Lieut:

I have the honor toState that on the 26^th,, day of Dec. 1869. the Jack Sharkey and F. R. Morgan ^did^ commit High-way Robery and Murder, upon the person of Mathew Cox, in this Amite County. I used every endeavor to arrest them, but they escaped to Louisiana. Morgan is now in the Parish of East Feliciana,, And Sharkey is in the Parish of Tangipahoa Louisiana.

I therefore request a requisition for Jack Sharkey and F. R. Morgan, as I have every
assurance of securing them, having found out their present place of residence
