Sir the verbal Statement Made by me to you is what i hav from Riley, he has told me the Charged him with the Stealing of a watch and $70⁰⁰ which he never Tuck.

Now by what he has told me I belive he is not guilty and i hope the Governer, will grant him a Pardon.
