Our Town as incorporated by an act of the Legislature. in 1860. or 1861. and was again renewed in 1866, but owing to the disorganized state of the

county since that time the ~~Corporation~~ Corporate Laws have not been put in force But now for peace, good order, & quietude in the Town, we suspectfully ask your Honor, to appoint the within named persons as represented all of whom agree to Serve as such.
