In obedience to Your letter of the 20 inst, directed to John P Marshall (who is the Chancery Clerk, & which has been handed to me the Circuit Clerk) I herein enclose You Certified Copy of the Indictment against William Ringer Calhoun Applegate & Henry Ringer,

There is no indictment against them for Killing Gen^l Brantley in this Office,
