I think you autto do somthing to give the colrd people justice we have to do all the farm work and lost all I ever had made last year by hiring hands and [?] all my mule cows and wagon and crop to them and the white men hired them to quit me and my feild and work for them and no man can make a cotton crop that way hands ought to be made to stay all the year till the crop is gathed and evry man made to know, better than hire anothers hands Cololered or white mans and something ought to be done to keep my race from going to these little towns and kechin these bad diseases, they ougt to be exam-ined by some doctor and cured and made to go to work, if somthing

is not done they will all rot all our folks goes to town two much when the gras is groing and wont go to work soon enuf in the year and then always wantin to quit and work for some body else, And somthing ougth to be done about fences as every bodys hogs and cows will get killed and all our crops eat up every year nobody ought to be let plant or crop til he has got a good fence there is no use in our being free if we can not get protection from any nigers and white folks twoo the smart working folks cant live any longer bethout some laws to fix things up. I am a hard working colderd man and lost my all as before said and I cry for help
