To the Sheriff of Noxubee County.

Greeting

We command you to take the body of Haywood Nance and him safely keep until called for by the Super-intendant of the Penitentiary of the State of Mississippi. He having been convicted at the November Term 1870 of the Circuit Court of Noxubee County on a charge of Burglary and escaped from the custody of the Sheriff before being sent to the Penitentiary
