I assume to write you again as I writin onnce befor on, 30th March and you answered it on the 9 of Febuary, in which you said that mutch if not all I complaint of is very well known, to you and much deprecated. whole some legislation economy in our gover-ment, industry, enterprise and economy in our citizens, will I trust, soon bi bring about a

chang for the better my efford shall all be directed in such amaner. I was I Glad to ^get^ such a letter from you at that time and I was in good fath that you would do whate you could, but now governor I would like to here from again times is still retrogradin of our enterprise.

we colord peeple can hardly live. under such horroble treatment we cannot execise our full right before the law nor ^get^ the complet benefit of our labor, we appeal to our Republican protect-ion. you know the nature of thing better than I do.
