Dear Sir, In compliance with your Circular Letter of the 18^th inst requesting me to furnish a statement of the debts interest & rate of taxation of Wilkinson County, I have the honor to herewith sub-mit the following. There is now outstanding in Bonded & floating debt in this County about Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.—) Rate of interest 8% Rate of Taxation on State, Teachers, County ^an_d Bonded debts in the aggregate, is 3 ¹/₃ per hundred on valuation
