PROCLAMATION.

$50.00 Reward.

Whereas, It appears by information received by me, that Charles Crawford, a convict, ef-fected his escape from the guard, while employed on the Noxubee River Levee, on the 15^th of January 1875 and is till at large;

Now, Therefore, I, ADELBERT AMES, Governor of Mississippi, do offer the above reward for the arrest and delivery of the said Charles Crawford to the Supt of the State Penitentiary And I do moreover require all officers of this State to be diligent in their efforts to arrest said fugitive Charles Crawford.

GIVEN UNDER MY HAND and the Great Seal of the State affixed, at Jackson, this 20^th day of January A. D. 1875.
