PROCLAMATION.

$50⁰⁰_' Reward.

Whereas, It appears by information received by me, that Charles Ball, a convict, effected his escape from the guard while under lease to French & Jobes, and at work on Noxubee River Levee, near Shuqualak, and is still at large;

Now, Therefore, I, ADELBERT AMES, Governor of Mississippi, do offer the above reward for the arrest and delivery of the said Charles Ball to the Supt. of the State Penitentiary. And I do moreover require all officers of this State to be diligent in their efforts to arrest said fugitive Charles Ball.
