Dear Friend

I do think we should resort to the sections of the U. S. Code to which you refered me concerning supervisors of elections. I understand that there are 13 separate registration Books for this county, of which only 6 can be obtained the party having them refusing to give them up to the registers ¹¹³ It seems quiet here now. Flannigan SBs (as I believe they term themselves) are organ-izing as militia. All desire to be remembered & all well—truly &c
