PROCLAMATION.

$50⁰⁰ Reward.

Whereas, It appears by information received by me, that Charles Morris, Convict, effected his escape from the Penitentiary guards November 28, 1875:

and is still at large;

Now, Therefore, I, ~~ADELBERT AMES~~^A. K. Davis, Lieut Governor, Acting^ Governor of Mississippi, do offer the above reward for the arrest and delivery of the said Charles Morris to the Supt. of the State Penitentiary

And I do moreover require all officers of this State to be diligent in their efforts to arrest said fugitive Charles Morris
