My Dear Sir

In 1872 I was appointed Keeper by M Shaugenessy U S Marshall in Case of United States against Peres Bonney & C The property was Printing Office of the Magnolia Gazette ^Eureka Centralwn^ every thing Pertaining to that office The first time the property was not sold the Second time H Gottig at Magnolia the purchasser My Account is duly made out Sworn to Bifore U S Commishioner M^r McGeehee of Jackson it amounts to $240⁰⁰ Dollars I was there night and day stayed there and payed by board with the expecta-tion of Getting my Keeperage I left the State shortly afterwards and have had no chance or oppertunity of collecting the same I was duly appointed and have my apointment which is in due form my account is approved by Esqueoll one of the U S Deputy Marshall and the state is justly indebted to me in this amount

Will you be so Kind as to instruct me in what way I will get the Money or how to proceede please Answer I am in need of it and would be under many obligations
