Enclosed please find commission executed before a Justice of the Peace, in the city of Natchez Miss. His capacity as to take testimony is not sufficiently shown, I would like to have the certificate of the Governor of the state of Mississippi that Levoy L. Key, is now and was at the date of said commission and acting Justice of the Peace in and for said County of Adams, state of Miss, city of Natchez. By our tlaw the certificate of the Secretary is not sufficient, Please attach the certificate and return the commission as soon as possible. You will find $1 00/100 enclosed for expenses if more is required, draw on me
