Sir:

We the undersigned officers and Employees of the Prison desire with your approval to forward to His Excellency the Governor the name of Louis Harris as a suitable person for Executive Clemency

The general good conduct of Harris for the two years last past; and previous to your administration as Superintendent according to the recommendation given Harris by the Employees of your Predecessor in office.

Together with the understanding that a petition from the citizens and a number of the County Officials has been forwarded for his release.

Will we think warrant us in asking your approval and assistance in obtaining his release from Prison
