To The Honorable President and Member of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Warren Gents I was forced by and armed body of men to signed and Enstrument of writing perporting to be my resignation to the office of Sheriff and Tax Collector of the County of Warren but under protest, and so stated, when it was signed and Do not and will not resign the office of sheriff and Tax collector of this County, but will Contend the matter to the End that Justice may be done me and you consider that I am Sheriff and Tax Collector to all interests and purpose as thou I had never signed any thing of the Kind
