Alcorn, informing Alcorn of a growing sentiment that Wilkinson is an illegal member of the Board of Supervisors for Noxubee County, Mississippi. Wilkinson would like for Alcorn to respond to his legitimacy in being a supervisor within the county. Included is a note from H. F. Hewson, private secretary to Alcorn, giving an executive summary of Wilkinson's letter.
